Something not right?
Dimma is made by one person. Write and you will get a reply from him, not a ticket number.

Before you write
The sound stopped in the night.
Open the app and check the night line at the top: it says how long it played and how many interruptions there were. Then check these three things.
- The timer. Tap Timer. If it shows anything other than Until you stop it, the sound was meant to fade at that time. Choose Until you stop it for all night.
- The free minutes. Before the one-time purchase, each night gives you 15 minutes with everything. When they end the sound fades over a minute and the pay-once screen appears. The window resets every night.
- Another app took the speaker. After a call or a text Dimma fades back in by itself. If another app starts playing its own audio, iOS hands the speaker to that app and Dimma stays paused. Tap the light to start it again.
If none of those explain it, write to us with your iPhone model, iOS version and roughly what time it stopped. That is usually enough to find it.
I paid but the app still shows the free minutes.
Tap Restore purchases on the pay-once screen or in Settings, signed in with the same Apple ID you bought with. If the App Store shows the purchase but the app still does not unlock, write to us.
I want a refund.
Apple takes the payment, so Apple issues refunds. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, find the Dimma purchase and choose “Request a refund”. We cannot refund directly, but if Dimma let you down we would still like to hear why.
How do I control it from the lock screen?
Play, pause, and next and previous colour are on the lock screen and in Control Centre, like a music app. The artwork is the colour you are playing.
How do I set it up for the ringing?
Start on Green or Blue. Press and hold the Filter pill to open the Filter sheet, turn on Ringing relief and slide the pitch until your own ringing feels covered. Then set the phone's volume just below the ringing, not over it. A speaker is kinder than earbuds for a whole night. Dimma is sound enrichment, not treatment; if the ringing is new or changing, see an audiologist.
How do I stop at sunrise?
Tap Timer, choose Stop at sunrise and tap the time chip to set your own sunrise. The sound fades out over the fade length you choose, from nine seconds to five minutes, so the silence never wakes you.
Where is my data, and how do I delete it?
Your settings live on your phone only. Delete the app and they are gone. The app sends anonymous usage events and, if you buy, Apple's purchase receipt; neither is linked to you. Details in the Privacy Policy.
Does it work on iPad or Android?
No. Dimma is an iPhone app for iOS 17 and later.
Requests and ideas
Tell us what is missing. Every request is weighed against keeping the app small enough to trust at three in the morning, but the list is real and it is read. support@trydimma.com
